Reflections on the Re–statement of Sense the University

From our perspective, in the context of contemporary society, the institution of higher education called university has lost its fundamental sense. This paper presents a theoretical reflection that attempts to reassert its essential meaning constituted by critical questioning without constraints on the production of knowledge, beyond the different pressures to which is filed within a consumer society oriented material productivity in the short term.
